We pay little attention to short term economic predictions about the future, for one good reason they are invariably wrong! That doesn’t stop people in the financial community from continually making them though. There are only two types of Investors, those who know they cannot predict the market and those who have yet not realised they cannot predict the market. We prefer to buy businesses that we understand, with durable competitive advantages, at rational prices and then hold for the long term.
